ADMINISTRATOR FOR LANGUAGE COURSES AND EXAMS (M/F/D)

The Goethe-Institut in Yangon is currently seeking a committed colleague for the language course office of the language department, to start on May 15, 2026.

As a language course and exam administrator, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Customer advice and service,
  • Administration of course participants and exam candidates,
  • Course and exam administration,
  • Accounting: preliminary account assignment, allocation, and settlement of teacher salaries,
  • Close coordination and regular communication with other departments, as well as with the administration and finance departments,
  • Course, e-test, and exam planning, enrollment, and classroom scheduling, including teacher scheduling,
  • Content, organizational, and financial preparation and follow-up for projects and advertising measures,
  • Public relations, social media presence of the language department, support at trade fairs and events,
  • General office work,
  • Maintenance of the address database and work with internal project planning software (OSKA, PPS, Doxis) and other systems.

Requirements:

  • Completed degree, completed training, or at least 3–5 years of professional experience in this field, as well as experience in customer service and dealing with customers.
  • Proficiency in common office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital affinity.
  • Very good knowledge of Myanmar at native-speaker level, and very good knowledge of German and English (at least B1).
  • Enjoyment of customer service and customer-oriented work
  • High willingness to learn and initiative.
  • Systematic and independent way of working.
  • Strong team and communication skills.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and commitment, including evenings and weekends.
